Douglas Noll's book Elusive Peace: How Modern Diplomatic Strategies Could Better Resolve World Conflicts has been named as a finalist in the 2010 CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution book award. It's in the hands of 19 judges, leading lawyers, academics, and corporate counsel, who will make a final decision by the end of the year.

Douglas E. Noll, Esq., lawyer turned peacemaker, is a full time peacemaker and mediator, specializing in difficult, complex, and intractable conflicts. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, on the American Arbitration Association panel of mediators and arbitrators, and was one of the first mediators certified under international standards established by the International Mediation Institute.
